We take the spread of covid-19 seriously. This page is continuously updated with information about our actions. On December 24th we will introduce maximum numbers at all our gyms. In this present we keep our gym open and continue to work for a safe and secure training at Nordic Wellness. We recommend that you exercise outdoors and online as much as possible. To make it easier, we have opened Wellness Online for all our members and broadcast live-streamed classes. Remember that you can always get coaching from our personal trainers online, regardless of whether you are a member or not. We follow the Public Health Agency's recommendations and update our actions regularly, so that you as a member can feel safe when you go to our gym. Here you can read more about our actions and what you can do yourself to reduce the spread of covid-19.
We have limited the number of visitors allowed in the gym and you may therefore need to wait before you can enter the gym. We have adjusted manned times and our entrance hosts check that all gym visitors are symptom-free before they enters. In connection with this, the entrance hosts provide visitors with hand disinfection.
We have given all members, regardless of membership, free access to Wellness Online - so that you have the opportunity to exercise from home if you don't want to visit the gym. If you still want to pause your membership, please contact your gym - there you will find out what opportunities that are available to you.
You can always meet our personal trainers online, whether you are a member or not. Your PT plans the training according to your wishes and creates sessions that you can perform when it suits you. All coaching takes place online and through weekly follow-up meetings you can together update, correct and motivate a little extra along the way. Right now we offer free digital PT consultations for everyone.
We are expanding the gym classes outside the gym and the range of our outdoor training. We move out all group training that can be moved out. The classes that can not be run outdoors are offered indoors but with a smaller number of participants.
We have closed our lounge areas and the sauna. We have separated and shut down some gym machines. We have set up distance markings in the gym areas.
We have increased the cleaning frequency in both changing rooms and among tools and machines. We take extra care to clean door handles, taps and other surfaces that often come into contact with hands.
All staff who are ill or experiencing the slightest symptoms of Covid-19 stays home. This means that gym classes may be canceled at shorter notice than usual. On our website and in our app you can keep track of which classes that are set.
At all our gym we have been giving out information about the importance of keeping your distance. This applies to both the gym, the machine park, the locker room and other areas in the gym. An reminder of current restrictions is played out loud in the gym. In gyms and machine parks, we encourage you to take responsibility by always letting every other machine be free. We ask you to avoid showering and changing at the gym if possible. In this way, you leave room for those who really need to use the changing rooms. We advise associations to exercise in groups.
We limit the amount on our gym classes and adjust the number of participants accordingly the size of the place, in line with the risk assessment from the Swedish Public Health Agency. Time between sessions increases to at least 10 min. We change the workout of our group class CrossChallenge. When conducting a class, participants should only be at "their" station and use "their" tools. This decision was made because we can not ensure cleaning of the tools between exchanges and to minimize contact between participants. We remove blankets and bolsters from the gym classes. We do this because we need to prioritize washing towels at our clubs.
We are canceling our planned events for the time being. We are canceling gyminfo.
The Box and Fight classes are cancelled until further notice. We have made this decision because at present we cannot ensure that the tools are cleaned between changes of station.
Some of our Kidz Clubs will be unmanned. To see what applies to your particular gym, please see the gym page. Local deviations may occur.
Everything gets better when we help each other! Here is a list of things you can think of when you visiting us. ● Wash your hands often and thoroughly, preferably immediately when you visit the gym. ● Wash tools, machines and carpets both before and after training - for your own and for the sake of others. ● Be sure to keep a safe distance between you and the person in front of you in the queue the reception. ● Be sure to keep your distance - always leave every other machine free. ● If you have the opportunity to shower and change at home, feel free to do so, this way you leave room for those who really need to use the changing rooms. And most important: if you are sick, stay home. You are warmly welcome back when you are healthy again! Thank you for taking care of yourself, people around you and our gym!
